To manage a Golf Section that makes golf enjoyable and fun for all members by establishing a modern proactive attitude, operated on solid financial foundations and maintained by a modern and fair governance structure.

Support for the various golf sections within the Club

 

Regular competitions, both competitive and social

 

Handicap process in accordance with current legistration

 

Support and organization of Club representative teams

Use of technologies for the benefit of members

 

Support for Captains Drive-ins and Captain's Days

 

Fund raising to support the Captain's nominated charities'

 

Establish a modern proactive attitude operated on solid financial foundations

 

Financial stabiity and planning for long term security

 

Maintaining a modern and fair governance structure.

 

Advise on R&A Rules / Local Rules and liaise with Essex and England Golf on interpretation issues.

 

Regular Advisory Committee meetings

 

Interface with Management & Greenstaff and liaison with Club Owners

 

Commitment to ensure incidents of ill-discipline and abuse are dealt with appropriately

 

Succession of future Club Captains
