Ensuring financial stability and planning for long term security

The Men’s Section Treasurer typically manages the finances of the Section, reports on its financial performance  and spearheads the fundraising effort to ensure that the Section has the necessary  funds to be successful.

The Treasurer is responsible for managing the flow of money into the Men’s Section and for allocating and recording how that money is spent to run the Section. This is done through the Section Bank Account, as the Treasurer works to ensure the Section is able to meet its day-to-day expenses and prompts the need for increased club fundraising where a shortfall in income is likely to exist. The Treasurer is responsible for keeping an accurate historical record of transactions covering income such as competition income, fundraising income, sponsorship income, and payments to bank accounts and third parties.

The Treasurer is responsible for the holding and flow of monies relating to the Men’s Seniors Section, the Jubilee Seniors Section and the Cadet Section.

The Treasurer is also responsible for the establishment, management and continued success of the 100 Club and other fundraising activities Sponsorship
