If you are submitting a scorecard in a competition, to updating your handicap or getting a handicap, it is vitally important that the card is filled in correctly. If it is filled in incorrectly, with missing information or is illegible then it is difficult, or even impossible to process.

If you are submitting a card to update your handicap then enter “General Play” instead of the completion name.

If you are submitting a card in order to get a handicap then enter “For Handicap Purposes 1” or “For Handicap Purposes 2” or “For Handicap Purposes 3” instead of the competition name. The number indicating how many cards you have already submitted.

The box on the card headed Entry No. is only used if you are playing in a competition.

If you are submitting a card in order to get a handicap then leave the boxes relating to Handicap index and Playing Handicap blank.
